USF Charge decreased to 15.1% - The Universal Service Fund (USF) fee that we collect, like all conference call service companies, changes on a quarterly basis based on guidance from the FCC. The amount charged for the 3rd quarter of 2013 will be 15.1% which is down from the 15.5% which was being charged in the 2nd quarter 2013.

Softphone Connections into Conference Calls Now Available - You can now join a conference call by connecting through your PC instead of your telephone from anywhere in the world.  And the conference call can support a combination of callers dialing into the call using regular phone connections and softphone connections.  The cost for the service is the same as a regular US toll free connection.  So if you have a participant somewhere in the world and do not want o incur the expense of a phone connection into your call they can connect via their PC.

You can adjust the volume of the conference call?

That's right.  Our system allows you to adjust the volume of your line into the conference call or the volume of the other participants on the call.  Our system automatically adjusts volume of all participants to make the sound volume as even as possible but if you still cannot hear the other participants or they are too loud you can adjust the volume.  You can adjust the volume of the conference by pressing *4 during the call or lower the volume by pressing *7.  You can adjust the volume of your line by pressing *5 and decrease it by pressing *8.

FAQ of the Month


Can I have more than one set of conference call information in my account?

With Zip Conferencing you can have as many conference call Moderators or Clients in your account as you like.  That way everyone in your company that does conference calls can have their own set of call information.  You will never have to worry about bumping into someone else in your conference room.  There is no charge for this feature and all usage from all moderators will consolidate onto your monthly statement and show usage by moderator. You can easily add Clients into your account by logging into your conferencing Hub and clicking on the Administration tab and then Clients, Add a Client.
