No, unlike other web conferencing services the Zip Web Conferencing service  does not require you to download any software.  Our web conferencing service is written using Flash so anyone with Flash on their machine can utilize the service.  Since Flash is now a standard piece of freeware installed on all machines to enable browsing on the web it is already installed.

The first time you log in to the web conferencing service as a presenter your system will be tested to ensure you have the correct version of software already installed on your machine.  Since this can take a few minutes it is strongly suggested that you test the service prior to your presenting for the first time.  Once your system has been checked it is now good for every time you present in the future.

This offers a big advantage over other web conferencing services.  The hardest part of getting a web conference off the ground is getting the participants on the web conference.  With Zip Conferencing the participants will be able to join your web conference with little difficulty and allow you to focus on the meeting not the mechanics of the meeting.
