At Zip Conferencing, we know the security of your conference is important to you, and have integrated a variety of features into our service to ensure your web conferences are completely confidential.
Web Security Codes: For Web conferences, you can add a web security code on the Schedule a Conference page. You can choose your own code or, since people often pick easily guessed codes, we also provide a random security code generator.
Firewall Protected: All of your Web conferences are conducted on servers sitting behind a firewall to make your conferences more secure.
In addition, since the program is our own proprietary service the encryption of the data is inherently secure throughout the conference.
While you are on your web conference you may also have an audio conference up for the participants. The audio conference call is also secure. In fact you can add additional features that help maintain the security of your conference call. From within the web conference interface you can lock the conference call which will block any additional participants from entering the conference call. It also will prevent even our own operators from joining your call as well. In adddition you can add security codes and PINs for the participants to enter the conference call. And since you can see all of the participants on the conference call from within the interface you will always know who is on the call.
As Moderator of the conference call you can also disconnect any participants at any time during the conference call and disconnect all parties at the end of the call. This can be done through the use of a Host Control or by setting up the conference call to disconnect all participants when the Moderator exits ahead of time.
