You can control a number of options on your conference call by configuring them from within the conferencing Hub, including the tones when a participant joins and exits a conference call.

To access Conference Options you need to log into your conferencing Hub and then Search for the Moderator whose conference call you would like to edit.  Click the View/Edit button next to the Moderator and then Click the Edit button next to the conference call you would like to Edit.  Under Advanced Options in the conference call reservation you can expand the list of COnference Options by clicking on the + sign.

The first two features are "When Participant Joins" and "When Participant Exits".  You can select one of three options, Silent, Play Tone or Announce Name.  And you can enable these features for either when a Participant Joins, Exits or both.

  • Silent Entry and Exit means that no sound will play when a Participants Joins or Exits the conference call.
  • Play Tone means that a tone will sound when a Participants Joins or Exits the conference call.  This is the default setting for your conference call.
  • Announce Name means that the Participant will be prompted to record their name when they enter the conference call.  The recording of their name will play when they Join or Exit the conference call.  In order for thisfeature to work the "Record Participants Name for Roll-Call" option must also be selected.
