There are a number of things that you can do to control the use of your conference call information if you are concerned about the participants being able to use your information without the Moderator being present.

  • Music on Hold - You can make it so that the participants listen to music until the Moderator joins the conference call.  That way the participants can not speak together unless the Moderator is present.  This is a Conference Option you can enable in the conferencing Hub.
  • Abort Conference if no Moderator Joins - If a participant joins your conference call but no Moderator is present for more than fifteen minutes the conference call will be disconnected.  This is a Conference Option you can enable in the conferencing Hub.
  • End Conference When Moderator Exits - This will ensure that participants do not hang on after the Moderator has left the conference call.  When the Moderaotr exits the other participants will be disconnected.  This is a Conference Option you can enable in the conferencing Hub.
  • Use a Scheduled conference call - You can use a scheduled conference call and that way the information for the conference call is only valid during the date and time you specify.
  • Change Conference Codes - You can easily add and delete conference information in the conferencing Hub so that you can frequently change conference code information to increase security.
