Administrators can edit audio conference accounts of a moderator or another administrator from the Edit Moderator page. Additionally, any moderator can also edit an audio conference account of their own moderator account through My Profile, or from the Audio Conference Account List, which is accessible from the View All link on the Conferencing Hub Home page's My Conference Info section.
Use the following procedure to edit an existing audio conference account. This procedure can also be used to view the details of an audio conference account. This is frequently done after an audio conference account has been created, to obtain the dial-in numbers and passcodes associated with the conference account.
N Warning
ยท Be careful about editing an audio conference account for which audio-only or Web and audio conferences have already been scheduled. If you have sent out invitations to such a conference, and you change the passcode information, for example, the information in the invitation may no longer be valid, and conference participants may not be able to join the conference.
: Editing an Audio Conference Account
1. Navigate to the Audio Conference Account List page (click the View All link in the My Conference Info section of the Home page), or to the Audio Conference Account section of the Edit Moderator or My Profile page. An example of the list is shown here:
2. Click the View/Edit link in the conference account's Actions column. The Audio Conference Account Options and Passcodes page (also called View/Edit Audio Conference Account page) opens in edit mode:
2. The Conference Account Type and Dial-In Numbers fields cannot be edited. For ReadyConference Plus account, the toll free and toll numbers appear in the dial-in numbers box. For GlobalMeet accounts, these same numbers are provided, as well as local and international toll-free numbers for participants dialing in from international locations.
3. To the right of the Dial-In Numbers field, you can sort the dial-in numbers using the Move To Top, Up, Down, Move to Bottom and Show More buttons.
3. To the right of the Passcodes field, you can view the Moderator Passcode and Participant Passcode for this audio conference account. These numbers cannot be edited directly, but you can use the Passcode options below them to change them.
4. Use the Passcode options to make any changes to the passcodes.
5. Make any additional changes to the When Participant Joins, When Participant Exits, and Other Audio Options fields in the Advanced Options section of the page.
6. Click the Save button to save the changes to the audio conference account and move to either the My Profile or View Moderator page, depending on your hub access level.
Once the changes are saved, the edited audio conference account can be used to provide the audio for a Web and audio or audio-only conference, either scheduled from the hub, or launched as a Meet Now conference. The edited "version" of the audio conference account will be applied to these conferences.
