Edit a Scheduled Conference Call

You can modify the details of an upcoming, current, or in-progress conference at any time.

J Tip:

·        It is recommended that you do not modify any major details of a scheduled conference close to the conference start time if it can be avoided.

One of the most common reasons for editing a current or in-progress conference is to upload a presentation or file that is needed for the conference, but that was not included when the conference was scheduled.

Use the following procedure to edit a scheduled conference.

: Editing a Scheduled Conference

1.         Navigate to the Conferences page, find the conference (upcoming, current, or in-progress) to be edited, and click the Edit link in the Actions column for that conference. The first page of the conference scheduling process opens.

This page contains the details already entered for this conference.

2.         Edit any of the information in the relevant fields related to general conference information, conference start time, presenter information, and attendee information.

3.         If the changes you are making to the conference need to be communicated to the conference presenters or attendees, select the appropriate options in the Attendee Email and Presenter Email Options sections of the screen.

5.         Edit any of the information in the relevant fields related to conference options, presentations, files, registrations, polling questions, and evaluations. If you are editing a current or in-progress conference in order to add or update a presentation or file for the conference, you can select the necessary file in the Presentation Options or File Options section of this page, or upload a new presentation or file if needed.

! Note:

·           Uploading new files and presentations can take a few minutes, and may not be available immediately within the live conference. While files are merely uploaded, presentations must be uploaded and processed for proper display before they are available for use within a live conference. Larger presentations take a longer time to process.

6.         Once all changes have been made, click the Save button at the bottom of the page to save the changes to the conference and return to the conference listing.

If presenter material or attendee questions are attached to the conference, you will see an option in the following sections to keep the existing material.

  • Presentations

  • Files

  • Registration Forms

  • Polling Questions

  • Evaluation Forms

In each case, you can choose to accept this option, or choose from any of the other options that are available to you. These are the same options that are available during scheduling.
