Zip Conferencing’s Web Conferencing service will work with most browsers, but it is recommended that you use Internet Explorer 5.x or higher.

Depending on the settings of your Web browser, or on the settings of add-ons to your browser, you may experience difficulty in reaching Web Conferecning because your system configuration is preventing pop-up windows from opening. Web Conferencing opens as a new window launched from the Join Conference page, and, as such, is treated like a pop-up window.

It is recommended that you disable this feature, commonly referred to as a pop-up blocker. You may have the option of disabling the feature for this occurrence, or for all pop-ups delivered from the Web Conferencing site. Since Web Conferencing launches in this manner every time you join a meeting, it is recommended that you disable the pop-up blocker for all pop-ups delivered from this site.

In some instances, depending on the pop-up blocker that you use, this option will not be available to you. If that is the case, it is recommended that you completely disable the pop-up blocker during a meeting. You can turn it back on after the meeting has ended.

If a pop-up blocker is causing trouble with Web Conferencing, you may see the following page:

 Pop-up Blocker instructions page

This page provides options for you to join the meeting as well as links to generic instructions for disabling a pop-up blocker. You may need to consult the instructions provided with your pop-up blocker for more specific information.
