Registration questions are questions that appear on a registration form that conference attendees need to complete prior to attending the conference.
There are some registration questions that are built into the system, and are available for use on all registration templates. These questions do not appear on the Registration Question list. They are:
· City
· Company
· Country
· Phone Number
· State
· Street Address
· Title
· Zip/Postal Code
! Note:
· When an attendee attempts to access your registration form, they will be prompted by the system to enter some personal information before proceeding to your registration form. This "personal information" can include First Name, Last Name, and Email address.
Use the following procedure to add a registration question.
: Adding a Registration Question
1. From the Content Library menu on the navigation bar, select the Registration > Registration Questions option. The Registration Questions page opens.
2. Click the Add New Question link located above the list of registration questions. The Add Registration Question page opens.
3. Select one of the formats from the Question Format drop-down list. The possibilities are:
· Free Response
· Free Response – Multi-Line
· Multiple Choice – Single Select
· Multiple Choice – Multiple Select
· True/False
· Yes/No
· Caption
! Note:
· The Caption style allows you to create statements in your template that do not require answers. For example, "Thank you for your interest in the conference."
4. In the Question Text field, enter the text of the question.
If you have not chosen one of the Multiple Choice question formats, you will be presented with a Save button which you will click to save the question and return to the registration questions list. You are done with this procedure.
If you have chosen one of the Multiple Choice formats, you will need to move to an additional screen to provide information about the multiple choice options. Continue with the next step of this procedure.
5. Click the Next button. The Add Answer Choices section of the Add Registration Question process is shown:
6. Enter the text of one of the answer choices for your multiple choice question in the Add Answer Choices field, and then click the Add button to the right. The text you entered is added to the table listing of answer choices.
7. Repeat the previous step until all possible answer choices for this multiple choice question have been added.
! Note:
· If you make a mistake, or would like to edit the list of answer choices, individual answer choices can be removed from the list by selecting them and clicking the Remove button.
8. Once you have added all of the answer choices, click the Save button to save the question and return to the registration questions list.
