Audio-only conferences do not run in the Live Conference window. Instead, participants to the conference will have phone access only to the conference. The moderator of the audio-only conference will have access to the Online Audio Controls.
Audio-only Conferences can be run using an Automated Audio Conference or Global Meet audio conference account.
To start an audio-only conference, use the following procedure:
: Starting an Audio-Only Conference
1. Sign into the Conferencing Hub.
2. From the Home page in the Meet section select Start under the Audio Meeting.
The Currently Selected Audio Conference Account field shows the audio account that will be used for the conference. If you chose Automated Audio Conferencing, then the account shown is your primary Audio Conferencing account. If you chose GlobalMeet, then the account shown is your primary GlobalMeet account.
3. If you would like to change the audio conference account that will be used, either to switch to a non-primary account, or to switch to a different account type, click the Select another audio account link. A window opens displaying all of your audio conference accounts:
4. Select the desired account from the list by clicking it. The window will close.
5. Click the Start button. The Join Phone Conference Now page opens.

This page lists the dial-in and access code necessary for you and your participants to join the audio-only conference. There is also a button provided to return you to the Conferencing Hub Home page.
8. Dial into the conference using your phone and the information provided on this page.
9. Click the Join Live Conference button to launch the Audio Web Controls interface.
10. The Online Audio Controls allow you to control certain aspects of the audio-only Meet Now conference.
The controls that are available here are the same as, and work in conjunction with, the touch-tone controls that are available from your phone for the audio conference. These are known as Star Meeting Controls.
