From the Files page of the content library, you can upload files that can be downloaded by conference attendees prior to, during, and after a live conference.

After you have added a file, it is available for future conferences. Multiple files may be attached to a single conference.

You can choose to make the file available to other users of the Conferencing Hub.

! Note:

·        Immediately after adding a file, it may not be available from the Files page. A status bar pop-up window is provided that indicates the progress of the file being uploaded to the Conferencing Hub.

·        Additionally, once uploaded, the file may not be immediately available for download, editing or deletion. When first uploaded, files may show "In Progress" in the Date/Time Created column. You cannot work with a file where this is the case; you will need to wait until an actual date and time is listed in this column. Try refreshing your browser after a few minutes to check the status of the file.

To add a file to the Conferencing Hub, use the following procedure:

: Adding a File

1.         From the Content Library menu on the navigation bar, select the Files option. The Files page opens.

2.         Click the Add New Shared File link located above the list of files. The Add File page opens.

3.         Enter the Title and Description of the file in the provided fields. The title is required. While the description is not required, it is recommended that you enter text describing the intended use of the file. This will aid you and others later when selecting a file to attach to a conference.

4.         Use the Browse button in the File box to select the file to be uploaded from your computer or network. Once you have selected the file, the file name appears in the File field.

5.         In the Permissions to View field, you can use the Show All Moderators and Show All Admins links to view the list of current Conferencing Hub users or administrators.

To give users permission to view and use the file, select the users you would like to be able to view this file by clicking their checkboxes. You can choose to grant permission to access this file to all current users by selecting the Select All Current Moderators option at the top of the list of users.

! Note:

·           Conferencing Hub administrators who have access to all files on the Conferencing Hub are listed in the Show All Admins section of the page. All administrators have access to your files, and you cannot change this.

6.         Click the Save button to upload the file.

A pop-up status window displays, showing the progress of the file being uploaded. Once the file has been uploaded, you are returned to the files list.
