From the Presenter Material section of the content library, you can upload presentations that can be used during a live conference.

Presentations Page

After you have added a presentation, it is available for all future conferences. Multiple presentations may be used during a single conference.

You can choose to make the presentation available to other users of the Conferencing Hub.

Example:

A sales manager may want to upload a presentation and share it with the members of the sales team so that all members of the team can make use of the same presentation during their live conferences.

! Note:

·        Immediately after adding a presentation, it may not be available from the Presentations page. A status bar pop-up window is provided that indicates the progress of the presentation being uploaded to the Conferencing Hub.

·        Additionally, once uploaded, the presentation may not be immediately available for preview, editing, or deletion. When first uploaded, presentations may show "In Progress" in the Date/Time Created column. You cannot work with a presentation where this is the case; you will need to wait until an actual date and time is listed in this column. Try refreshing your browser after a few minutes to check the status of the presentation.

To add a presentation to the Conferencing Hub, use the following procedure:

: Adding a Presentation

1.         From the Content Library menu on the navigation bar, select the Presentations option. The Presentations page opens.

2.         Click the Add New Presentation link located above the list of presentations. The Add Presentation page opens.

3.         Enter the Title and Description of the presentation in the provided fields. The title is required. While the description is not required, it is recommended that you enter text describing the intended use of the presentation. This will aid you and others later when selecting a presentation for use within a conference.

4.         Use the Browse button in the File box to select the presentation file to be uploaded from your computer or network. Once you have selected the file, the file name appears in the field.

Some presentations can have links to other files, or embedded files within the presentation. If you upload such a presentation, these links and embedded files will not work properly automatically. Instead, you need to upload the linked or embedded files in addition to the presentation when you perform the Add Presentation procedure.

5.         Optional — To also upload the linked or embedded file in the presentation, click the Add button. An additional field (and a Browse button) appears in the Upload File box.

6.         Optional — Use the new field's Browse button to select the file that is linked or embedded in your presentation. Once you have selected the file, the file name appears in the File field.

! Note:

·           If there are files you would like to remove, you can select their checkboxes, and then click the Delete button to do so.

7.         In the Permissions to View field, you can use the Show All Moderators and Show All Admins links to view the list of current Conferencing Hub users or administrators.

To give users permission to view and use the presentation, select the users you would like to be able to view this presentation by clicking their checkboxes. You can choose to grant permission to access this presentation to all current users by selecting the Select All Current Moderators option at the top of the list of users.

! Note:

·           Conferencing Hub administrators who have access to all presentations on the Conferencing Hub are listed in the Show All Admins section of the page. All administrators have access to your presentation, and you cannot change this.

8.         Click the Save button to upload the presentation. A pop-up status window displays, showing the progress of the files being uploaded.
