USF Charge increased to 17.4% - The Universal Service Fund (USF) fee that we collect, like all conference call service companies, changes on a quarterly basis based on guidance from the FCC. The amount charged for the 4th quarter of 2012 will be 17.4% which is up from the 15.7% which was being charged in the 3rd quarter 2012.

You can end your call with a command?


To make sure your conference call is terminated you can use the *93 command if you are the moderator to end the call.  All of the participants on the call except you will be disconnected.  This will make sure that all connections are dropped on the call.  This is useful if you want to make sure the participants are off the call and can't carry on any further discussions.  It also is helpful if you are doing back to back conference calls with the same dial in pass codes.  Since you are not disconnected you can simply stay on the call and wait for the next participants to join.  And this comman will also make sure a stray connection does not stay on the conference call such as a speaker phone in a conference room that participants forget to hang up.

Can I see what my usage is before I get my Invoice?

With Zip Conferencing you can run a usage report at any time to see what your call volume is during the month.  And since you designate the time frame for the report you can even see what your usage has been over a different period of time.  The reports are detailed and display the moderator name and even participant detail if you desire.  To access the reports simply log into your conferencing hub and go to the reports tab and click on Completed Meetings.  Designate the time frame you want to look at and run the report.  You can then download the report in a CSV or XLS format.
