Conferencing Hub New Release
The Zip Conferencing Newsletter - Tips, Tricks and Information
Conferencing Hub New Release -
A new release of the Conferencing Hub includes some changes and new features designed to provide an enhanced experience. The main changes are as follows:
- Terminology Changes - Throughout the hub "Moderator" is now referred to as "Client" and we are beginning a transition to referring to the "Hub" as "Site" This was done to eliminate confusion as each user has a Client ID so we have made the label consistent throughout.
- Adding a Client - Admins will now have a more streamlined experience when adding a user (Client) to their account. The detailed audio options and confirmation send process has been moved from this first page to a page that appears when a Client is successfully added. There you can change options and send a confirmation to the Client.
- Fraud Prevention - Enhancements to the password rules are now in effect for new Clients and whenever a Client creates a new reservation the Admin on the account will be notified via email.
- Branding Enhancements - Several changes have been made to the branding of your Site (hub). If you have already branded your Site (hub) you will have to upload your logo again in the new Site.

You can change your conference codes online?
With the conferencing Hub you can add, delete or edit your conferencing information whenever you like. Perhaps a regular participant on your conference call has left the company and you want to make sure they do not access the call in the future. Just change your pass codes on the call and the old codes will no longer work. To change your pass codes just log into your account and go to the conferencing Hub. In your profile are your audio accounts. You can add a brand new one and delete the one or just Edit the pass codes by editing the conference reservation. You can even select your own conference codes if you like.
